About

Welcome to our Spring of Joy!

Started 7 years ago when our oldest was born, our website (still a work in progress…) is a real look at life in our home… the foibles and follies, the laughter and delight, the heartache and headaches, the loving and letting go, the springs of joy God gives us every day. So join us now for the grand tour-

Check out The Boys’ Room for a heapin’ dose of delight as you enter the black and white world of my oldest Buddy… and who knows what you’ll find in Bear-land! Visit The Library and read all about life with my journals. Then check out The Nursery where everything is coming up pink!

If you have the time, browse The Gallery and enjoy some of our photography and even some special art work. Pop some popcorn and take in a movie at The Theater. The bookshelf awaits with quotes from favorite authors, and you’ll find a place to worship in The Conservatory. The Storeroom is my mish-mash of miscellaneousness and links to great posts by others who remind me to store up my treasures in Heaven. Want to see what the kids are learning (and teaching us)? Look in on the Classroom. And check out our links to meet our friends (soon to be updated with my favorite bloggy reads).

The Doctor’s Office while not a part of our home is a place to find health updates on my cancer and treatment. I’m hoping those posts will quickly diminish.

So put your feet up, grab a cup of coffee (or hot chocolate if you’d rather) sit back and enjoy our southern hospitality as you share some glimpses of our world.

About the Name
The name of our site comes from All The Way My Savior Leads Me, Angie’s favorite hymn.

All the way my Savior leads me;
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my Guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;

All the way my Savior leads me,
Cheers each winding path I tread;
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living Bread.
Though my weary steps may falter,
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see.

All the way my Savior leads me
O the fullness of His love!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s house above.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day
This my song through endless ages,
Jesus led me all the way.
